What can I expect for my child during service?
-Bethel Kids Ministry will provide an age appropriate experience like the one you get on Sunday mornings. We will have worship, themed bible lessons, small groups time, and activities to teach kids at every level. They are loved and taught to develop a foundation of faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Who Teaches the Classes?
-All of our classes are lead by trained volunteers. Each volunteer has been through a background check at Bethel Church. We strive to create a safe and fun environment for all the kids to enjoy during services. Our classroom helpers are 6th grade and up.
When are your children's programs AVAILABLE?
-Children's classes are available every time services are held at Bethel Church. Classrooms open 15 min before each sermon time.
What is the security procedure?
-Safety in kids ministry is a top priority at Bethel Church. Your child must be checked into our system every week and will receive a different two part ID tag with code (or pager system at some locations.) One part is for your child to wear, the other for you to be contacted in service and to check your child out of class. No child will be released without the proper tag or pager returned. Check-in also gives you the opportunity to leave special instructions for your child (ex. allergies, special needs, etc.)
How do i know when my child is ready to move to a new classroom?
-Nursery-4 years promote with age. For grade schoolers we have a "Promotion Sunday" (usually in July ) when we invite all new kindergartners to join kids church and 6th graders are celebrated before they begin attending services with adults.
